The first segment is sorted by projected speed overall.
The second segment is sorted by the early/closing factor.
The third segment is something new I’m working on. Under the column “speed points” you’ll see a figure that adds both the horse’s position visa vis all the horses in the race, plus points for being in or near the lead at each call point, considering the horse’s last five races. Maximum speed points would be 10: one point for being in third position or less, and one point for being within three lengths of the leader. This segment is sorted according by closing factor.
